The Perverse Policies That Fuel Wildfires

…More prescribed burning, more metal roofs, better zoning—these are all steps that could make a significant difference at a local level. But dealing with the wildfire crisis on a regional or a national scale would require addressing the CO2feedback loop, which is impossible for any region or nation to do on its own.   1. This was a very interesting article. Though I still prefer the term Anthropocene, the idea of a Pyrocene based on our relationship with fire is something that I would like to research more. I will have to check out Stephen Pyne's book.
