In low moments, I sincerely doubt that anyone ever changes their mind, and I especially doubt that anyone ever changes their mind in response to an op-ed. But our planet, our home, is in mortal danger, and words are all I've got. So I'm taking my very best shot here.

Leading with despair is not a bad thing. It can lead to understanding of complexity, help you to confront yourself, and lead to action. Today's vote truly has our environment on the ballot. We must educate future generations to prevent such extreme choices in the future.

ReplyDeleteIt is easy to try to be positive with everything going on, but sometimes we have to face the facts that the world we live in is not the best. Coming up on this election, we have to take so many factors into account. The environment plays a huge role in this ballot because we are approaching a point of no return.
