I saw a New York Times article discussing this the other day. The progress of the past 20 years is astonishing when considering how little actually has been done in terms of public policy in that period. As politicians grow more convinced of the reality of climate change (I say possibly too optimistically), I have real hope that the future we'll be looking at ten years from now will be dramatically brighter than the one we see today.
