  1. 8. I think they absolutely will be. This might be a slightly different way of looking at it but in terms of the resiliency of communities with their own renewable power grid more dispersed systems can't compare. During the recent hurricanes large sections of florida were without power except for small communities with their own network of solar power, providing local power is just as important as local food.
