A message that bears repeating

Trees don't just absorb carbon—they literally cool the air around them. Urban areas with more trees are up to 10°C cooler in summer. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.

I think tree cover is such an important factor and element of urban design. No city has beauty without nature incorporated into it. People discuss food deserts in low income area but I think lack of nature in low income areas should also be a concern for both physical and mental health and well being.
