Presidential Candidates position on Climate Change

Don Enss

I'm attaching four links that you can click on to get the complete article.  I'm sure that there are many more articles and some that are more objective, but this is just to give you an idea and not influence your thinking on a particular candidate. There may be something within these and others that can serve as a guide for anyone who wants to create a dialogue to be used on our video.

  2. I would just like to point out two things that grabbed my attention from the USAToday article, one which sort of blows my mind and another which makes me wonder why more substantial initiatives aren't being undertaken to address the problem especially when such a consensus exists

1.) In regards to the Republican platform, "It says coal is clean". I would sort of tend to agree with Jeremy Symons, the senior adviser with the Environmental Defense Action Fund in which he states, "It is a fantasy and wishful thinking"

2.)"Leaders of all nations accept the scientific consensus that man is fueling climate change by burning fossil fuels and are calling for urgent action," the report states. Support comes from leaders of 195 countries, including North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, the article also states that Donald Trump would be at the bottom of the list considering his disbelief in this issue.
