Transcribe an imagined conversation (or the beginning of one) between Robin Attfield, Hope Jahren, Bill McKibben, and yourself, using actual quotes from their books as well as fictional statements based on your best extrapolation of what you imagine they would say in response to one another and to you (indicate actual quotes with parenthetical page numbers). Begin the conversation by posing this question: "Do you think the 'human game has begun to play itself out,' or do you believe we will avert the worst imaginable outcomes of climate change in the century ahead? If so, how? If not, why not?" If you consult sources other than our author's texts, embed hyperlinks to them in your post. Have fun with the blogging platform by including non-textual content and relevant videos etc. (But if you have an alternative proposal as ambitious as Ed's in his "Note to self" below, go for it.)
