It would be interesting to see what stake the proponents of the pipeline have in it because one would think that a project with such backlash as this one would be scrapped but with what im assuming is a large amount of money being funneled into pockets by the corporation behind the pipeline, it doesn't really matter what the people want and that is the unfortunate part about the whole thing besides the obvious environmental concerns and protest of the people that doesn't get publicized with the issue.
