1. Michael Bloomberg and Bill Gates have both used their philanthropy to aggressively advocate for finding solutions to the climate situation, however, they invest in companies that create more environmental issues. Can this be considered hypocrisy and if so is their motivation truly in making profits or environmental conservation?

2. Why do you think there is inconsistent momentum in the pledges and projects that are dedicated to creating solutions for the climate crisis?

  1. Gates and Bloomberg are hypocrites and they are only worried about money. If saving the world made money then that is what they would do but right now killing the planet is what pays so that is what they are going to invest in.
