This is a positive sign because many people flock to paris area for fashion. With fashion being such a big industry and its states supporting climate change, I see it trickling down in some positive way to the masses. This is foward progress.
Great news and a positive step for sure but it will all come down to whether we are resolute and genuine in our beliefs and actually put them to use instead of just saying it. The whole show me don't tell me phrase comes to mind but its a good step.
Brazil also joining is another big step, although the environmental impacts from dam building for hydro power as an alternative would have great environmental effects also from the rain forests to the the indigenous people and even health effects due to larger breeding grounds for disease carrying mosquitoes.But, that's a debate for another day.
