1.          How did you feel when you read about the conditions of the refugees that are being detained at Nauru. What can you do?  And what will you do?

  1. I find it pretty deplorable that this is what people are having to endure. As what what I can do personally I am not sure of much that I could. Of course you could always send emails and write letters of the sort to the political leaders but I'm not all that sure what that would actually do. I think with the way the world works today, getting the conditions on video and starting a social media campaign against the conditions would be the best way to get things done to see some change. But, again, I'm not exactly sure how that would work seeing as they are restricting "visitors". The sad thing about it is it seems to have some publicity as stated in the text, but still nothing seems to be done about it.

  2. As Kevin mentioned, the best way to address the issue would be to raise awareness through media sources considering how connected the world is virtually. Even though this is the case, people, especially politicians may not contribute to change if they are not properly motivated. The situation is incredibly disheartening.

  4. There is not a whole lot I can do. It is a difficult situation to handle. The best thing to do is just raise awareness and to inform people of the situation.
